[SS-PT-05] The construction of the special session "Water and Spirituality: the encounter of the sacred with life" was motivated by the importance of water in our lives.
In almost all spiritual traditions, life was born and reborn in the waters. The spiritual dimension of existence sees water as a gift, constituting of the human beings and of life as a whole. Thus, water is a common good that must be shared, just as each of the world's religious traditions must share their spirituality.
This session will be a meeting of the various religious traditions, which dialogue in unity with each other and with society, around a single objective: the construction of an experience of more respect for the act of sharing, starting with water and the expression of faith of each and every one, with respect and union, values and practices so necessary in current times.
